Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a team of food service professionals. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality while supporting the overall success of our restaurant. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure smooth workflow. Supervise staff members by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to foster a motivated team environment. Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; perform cash handling duties with integrity. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through regular inspections and staff training. Support shift management by coordinating schedules, overseeing food production, and ensuring timely service during busy periods. Assist in managing restaurant budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability through effective resource management. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service or fast food environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking procedures, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising restaurant operations. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety practices, and hospitality management principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively. Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
