Free meal each shift, consistent full-time hours, paid training, Small team environment with direct decision-making influence Job Summary Rosati's Pizza of Saint Charles is hiring a dependable and motivated Assistant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and ensure smooth, consistent daily service. This is a hands-on management role : you will lead by example while serving tables, bartending, directing FOH staff, and coordinating with the kitchen team. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, guest-focused, and ready to take responsibility for daily operations, staffing, and service standards in a smaller but fast-paced restaurant. Responsibilities Daily Operations & Leadership Manage and oversee all front-of-house operations during scheduled shifts Lead, train, and support both FOH and BOH staff Maintain a positive, team-focused work environment Coach staff on service, cleanliness, communication, and guest satisfaction Service Duties Serve tables and bartend as needed Provide outstanding customer service and resolve guest issues professionally Maintain a clean, organized dining room and service area Opening & Closing Management Open the restaurant: dining room prep, service setup, POS readiness Close the restaurant: cash handling, balancing drawers, closing out servers/drivers Ensure nightly cleaning is completed and the store is set for the next day Secure the building and follow end-of-night procedures Cash & Administrative Responsibilities Oversee POS functions, cash-outs, and daily deposit procedures Manage schedules, shift coverage, and attendance Assist with FOH inventory and ordering Communicate regularly with owners regarding staffing, issues, and improvements Requirements 21 years of age or older Previous restaurant management or shift-lead experience preferred Serving and/or bartending experience Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Reliable, hardworking, and highly organized Ability to multitask in a smaller, fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
