In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient workflow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the dining experience in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills, improve performance, and ensure adherence to company policies. Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and optimize workflow for quick service and fast food restaurant environments. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any operational issues promptly. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or quick service settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures. Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and managing restaurant operations. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement effective food management strategies. Excellent communication skills for interviewing candidates, conducting training sessions, and coordinating with team members. Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus; previous roles may include assistant manager or supervisory positions in the food industry.
