As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be the driving force behind daily operations, inspiring your team to excel and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Responsibilities Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service, maintaining high standards of food and service quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and seamless service. Support team members through coaching, training, and development initiatives to enhance their skills and performance. Manage guest interactions proactively, resolving concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and uphold safety standards. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability. Enforce health and safety regulations consistently across all areas of the restaurant. Foster a positive team environment by promoting collaboration, recognition, and open communication. Responsible for learning menu and preparing each dish. Direct support with store manager and acting leadership while store manager is absent. Skills Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences. Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact. Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice-to-have:
Previous experience in kitchen, managing teams or supervising restaurant operations; certification in food safety or hospitality management.
