In this vital role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our food service operations, whether in a casual dining, fast food, or fine dining setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, management skills, and passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee staff training and development, including onboarding new team members and conducting ongoing skill enhancement to uphold food safety standards. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management and excellent customer service experiences. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Lead by example in supervising staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Proven ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize profitability. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and development within hospitality or restaurant settings. Deep understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Background in managing diverse teams across casual dining or fine dining environments with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as shift management, catering coordination, banquet operations, or hotel food service experience.
