In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and manage all aspects of food production and inventory control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the dining experience in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled culinary team. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Enforce food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions, POS operations, and cash handling procedures accurately during service hours. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth shift management and excellent customer service. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and food management to meet financial targets while maintaining high standards. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong background in restaurant management with supervisory experience in hospitality or food service industries. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team management. Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high-quality service delivery. Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
