Manager Food Service

MANAGER FOOD SERVICE FULL-TIME CROWN POINT LOCATION POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of personnel engaged in the preparation of food for the hospital patients, employees and visitors; the assembly and service of meals; and the provision of cafeteria and special function service.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Certified Dietary Manager required, or must obtain within two years. Minimum 5 years management experience required. Associates degree or above preferred in management, food and nutrition, culinary arts, human resources or other related degree. Strong culinary background in large volume cooking. Basic knowledge of nutrition. Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Print Artist, and Power Point. Aptitude to work with food production management and ordering software. Completion of ServSafe Certification must be completed within six months of employment.
