Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service and high standards of food quality and safety Supervise and motivate staff, including conducting interviews, training new team members, and managing shift schedules Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Oversee cash handling procedures and operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately during transactions Support food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards in both casual dining and fine dining environments Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a memorable dining experience Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food handling and food safety management Demonstrated leadership skills in managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting training & development sessions Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling Solid understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food management practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in casual dining or banquet settings Experience with kitchen management, food production, catering, bar operations, and beverage service including barista or coffee experience is a plus Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, team management, and collaborating with culinary teams to ensure seamless operations Join us as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant if you're ready to lead with energy, inspire your team, and create unforgettable dining moments!
