Production Manager (2nd Shift) Evansville, IN Direct Hire | Up to $110,000 + Bonus + Pension + Outstanding Benefits A well-established, growing bakery manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join its leadership team in Evansville, Indiana . Compensation & Benefits - Production Manager Base salary up to $110,000 Annual bonus opportunity Strong 401k employer match Pension plan Exceptional "Cadillac" medical benefits Relocation assistance available Stable, growing organization with long-term career advancement opportunities Key Responsibilities - Production Manager Lead and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. Ensure compliance with company standards for formulas, scaling weights, bake times, production controls, and product quality. Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate production employees while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Plan and coordinate labor, ingredients, and equipment to maximize production efficiency. Direct plant resources to optimize production while maintaining high quality standards. Partner with the Sanitation team to ensure equipment and facilities meet all food safety and regulatory requirements. Promote a strong safety culture through established procedures and employee engagement. Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to maintain product quality and operational efficiency. Ensure customer orders are produced accurately and delivered on schedule. Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with the Plant Manager. Qualifications - Production Manager Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a high-speed food manufacturing environment , preferably within the bakery industry.
THIS IS REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of managemen t experience leading production operations. Experience managing large production teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement initiatives. Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of BRC food safety standards preferred. #CDIV101
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
