The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations, personnel, facilities, and equipment of their assigned retail location. This is a full-time, salaried position ($60-70k annually) with benefits. Our ideal candidate is a thoughtful, engaged, people-focused leader who can take ownership of the store and make good decisions to benefit the business.
Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe, inclusive, supportive, and rewarding work environment Manage the operations of a retail store and delivery service Provide and model exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints Onboard and train new employees Supervise, train, coach, mentor, and develop employees on best practices and procedures Direct personnel to the completion of projects and tasks Professional development of staff to ensure competency in expected duties Oversee store merchandising and product displays Conduct administrative oversight such as making schedules, approving PTO, verifying hours, progressive discipline, making bank deposits, etc.
Schedule and Pay:
Full-time, up to 50 hours per week $60-70k annual salary, depending on skill and experience Paid weekly Employee Benefits - Medical, vision, dental, 401k, paid time off, and more
Qualifications:
Has a good working knowledge of retail best practices, including customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention. At least 3 years of leadership or management experience (retail, warehouse, restaurant or other service industry preferred) Leads by example; modeling expected behaviors with maturity and professionalism Able to lift 50lbs, perform physical tasks (standing, walking, lifting, bending, etc), and work in varying temperatures Have a valid driver's license with clean driving history No convictions related to theft, violence, or sexual assault In-person customer service experience Able to think on your feet and use good judgment Strong organizational skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred Strong verbal communication and active listening skills Strong written and telephonic communication skills If you are interested in this position and meet the above qualifications, please submit your application with a cover letter and tell us more about yourself and your leadership experience.
