In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, managing inventory, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Kitchen Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team environment, training staff, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and leadership skills while contributing to a vibrant dining experience. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, coaching, and development to enhance skills in food handling, safety procedures, and customer service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety. Coordinate shift management activities to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of service. Lead staff interviewing processes to recruit talented team members who align with our service philosophy. Implement food production procedures that meet quality standards for casual fine dining. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and continuous improvement. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Excellent inventory control skills with the ability to manage stock levels effectively and reduce waste. Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within the food industry or hospitality sector. Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures. Ability to train staff on culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver outstanding customer service. Experience in casual or fine dining environments is highly valued.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
