POSITION TITLE
Senior Operations Managers
SALARY RANGE

Director, Food and Nutrition Services
OVERVIEW
Takes leads of all day to day operations.

Responsible for daily staffing coverage, equipment-issue escalation, compliance follow-up, and timely communication and reporting to the FNS Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Field daily call-offs from Kitchen Managers, coordinates and deploys cover-ups. ? Field Kitchen Manager calls concerning equipment issues and report directly to the FNS Director; coordinate with the kitchen equipment maintenance contractor for timely repair. ? Follow up on compliance, culinary, and operational concerns. ? Conduct on-site coaching with Kitchen Managers on operations, compliance, POS accuracy, and cash handling. ? Support Kitchens, monitor and solve staffing shortages, audits, and compliance reviews. ? Field issues flagged by the Operations team, and the Dietitian. ? Support training of new staff and routine ongoing training for staff across the district. ? Support inter-departmental collaboration with FNS. ? Relay concerns on buildings and individuals within the purview to the FNS Director. ? Perform other duties as assigned by the FNS Director.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in food service, hospitality, business, or related field preferred. Minimum four (4) years of food service experience including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role; multi-site experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Programs (NSLP, SBP). ServSafe Manager certification required within 30 days of hire. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
? While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. ? The employee is required to have dexterity of hands and fingers. ? The employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. ? They may be occasionally required to bend at the waist, kneel or crouch. ? Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus. ? While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is seated or walking at will, and must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds.
