Company Overview Nine Irish Brothers is an acclaimed traditional Irish pub renowned for its warm hospitality, authentic Irish cuisine, and lively atmosphere. With two locations in Greater Lafayette, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and drink experiences that celebrate Irish culture and community. Overview We are seeking a focused, energetic, and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and foster a positive environment for staff. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold our high standards, and enhance guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence. Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to promote a motivated and skilled workforce. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training. Utilize POS systems (Toast) for analysis. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift transitions and exceptional customer service. Lead efforts in food production for catering events or special functions when required. Qualifications Proven experience in casual dining environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting with skills in team management and staff training. Familiarity with POS systems, spreadsheet managment. Knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and handle multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality management and culinary excellence.
