Implement training programs to enhance the capabilities of the team. + Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by encouraging open communication, collaboration, and teamwork. + Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and skilled to meet our score card goals. Assist the Talent Acquisition partners and Human Capital in recruitment, succession, and talent development. + Demonstrate safety leadership by driving accountability for safety within the production team, increase team safety awareness, ensure use of safe work practices and compliance with safety rules, and take immediate action to resolve safety concerns. + Coordinate work schedules of your assigned shift, engaging staffing agencies as needed to support fluctuating labor requirements set by the production manager. + Oversee day-to-day operations, manage priorities, and ensure the team is aligned with organizational goals. + Monitor plant cleanliness, Food Safety requirements and (5S) expectations, practices and accountability. + Identify and act on lead measures to support plant achievement of scrap reduction and cycle efficiency targets. + Manage the planning and deployment of resources within the shift to efficiently meet customer expectations. + Monitor production performance indicators and take appropriate action to identify root cause of variances, engaging technical teams or management as necessary for resolution. + Address conflicts and issues within the team promptly and constructively. Mediate disputes, facilitate discussions, and promote a positive working environment. + Build strong relationships with team members to understand their needs, concerns, and aspirations. Cultivate a sense of trust and mutual respect. + Preferred 3+ years of experience managing people in a manufacturing environment. + Preferred 1+ years of injection molding experience. + Excellent Leadership Skills including strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. + The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. + Technical aptitude - basic understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) mechanical systems, tooling, & plastic manufacturing. + Experience with JDE system a plus. + The ability to interact with and train a diverse group of personnel. + Ability to work cross functionally.
