We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Back of House Manager to lead our kitchen and food service operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily food preparation, inventory control, and kitchen management, ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency across all back-of-house functions. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and maintain seamless restaurant operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated management professional with a strong background in food industry management to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, food prep teams, and support personnel, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence and teamwork Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and timely service in line with restaurant standards Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Operate and troubleshoot POS systems such as Clover POS and Square POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Enforce strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations and ensure guest safety Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, culinary techniques, customer service, and operational procedures Coordinate shift management activities including scheduling, opening/closing duties, and ensuring smooth daily operations Assist with budgeting responsibilities by controlling labor costs and managing operational expenses effectively Support catering, banquet, bar, or coffee service as needed to ensure comprehensive restaurant experience Interview potential team members to build a skilled workforce aligned with company values and standards Experience Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants with casual dining or fine dining backgrounds Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Clover or Square for order processing and cash handling Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality Strong background in inventory control, food safety compliance, and budget management Experience in hospitality management environments such as hotels or catering services is advantageous Previous roles involving staff training & development, interviewing, shift management, and leadership are highly desirable Join us to lead a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
