Join our team as the Posados Cafe Restaurant Kitchen Manager and lead the operation In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient service. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver excellent dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and culinary techniques. Utilize
TOAST POS
for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking with accuracy. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to uphold sanitation standards. Lead efforts in food production for various service formats including quick service, casual dining, fine dining, catering, and banquet events. Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that align with brand standards while innovating new offerings. Support staff hiring processes through interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members effectively. Drive continuous improvement through staff training & development initiatives that enhance culinary skills and customer service excellence. Requirements Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Apply only if you have experience in casual dining and restaurant kitchen management Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting. Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff training & development. Knowledge of inventory control practices and food safety regulations including proper food handling procedures. Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Hospitality management background with experience in managing shifts, customer service standards, and restaurant operations.
