Job Description

Maison RÊVANT | New Orleans, LA Sweet Legacy Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead Maison RÊVANT , our flagship French-Caribbean fine-dining restaurant in New Orleans. This role is responsible for all aspects of daily operations, guest experience, and financial performance. In close partnership with the Chef de Cuisine, the General Manager ensures service excellence, operational discipline, and a refined yet welcoming dining experience rooted in New Orleans hospitality. The ideal candidate brings strong fine-dining leadership experience, deep food and beverage knowledge, financial fluency, and a hands-on presence on the floor. Requirements Minimum 4 years of fine-dining experience , including at least 2 years in a management role Extensive knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and elevated service standards Proven leadership, communication, and team-development skills Strong understanding of restaurant financials (P&Ls, labor, food & beverage costs, inventory) Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Genuine passion for hospitality and guest engagement Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities Oversee all front-of-house operations and service standards Hire, train, coach, motivate, and evaluate team members Partner closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure seamless FOH/BOH collaboration Actively manage the floor during each service period Engage with guests, build relationships, and resolve concerns professionally Achieve operating budget goals including sales, labor, food, beverage, and operating costs Oversee reservations, seating, greeting, and front-door procedures Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing staff training Maintain consistent communication with staff and ownership Ensure compliance with all company policies and employment standards Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the dining room Uphold food safety standards and operational best practices Complete all administrative reports and operational paperwork accurately Maison RÊVANT is a destination-level restaurant blending French technique, Caribbean influence, and New Orleans soul.
