In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and smooth management of staff and resources. Your leadership will drive the restaurant's success by fostering a positive environment, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and implementing effective management practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest experience while managing all aspects of restaurant performance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure top-tier service delivery. Oversee daily operations including food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Manage inventory control processes to ensure proper stock levels, minimize waste, and optimize food costs. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking with accuracy. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant. Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff coverage to meet customer demand during peak hours. Monitor customer service quality to enhance guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly. Implement training & development programs for staff to improve skills in food production, hospitality management, and team management. Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support restaurant profitability goals. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and a positive dining experience for all guests. Requirements Proven management experience in a fast-paced foodservice environment such as quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential. Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on staff training & development in hospitality or food industry settings. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; experience with food handling procedures is required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively. Background in inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Prior experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is a plus; banquet or catering experience is advantageous. Ability to interview candidates effectively and contribute to hiring decisions that strengthen the team's performance.
