The Role We're looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our passionate team. In this role, you'll help lead daily operations, inspire your team, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. Additionally, you will foster a positive environment for both team members and guests alike, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere every day.
Key Responsibilities Lead & Inspire:
Be a mentor for your team, setting the tone for a motivated and cohesive group.
Customer Experience:
Maintain exceptional service standards, resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care.
Operations Guru:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring product quality.
Drive Growth:
Help implement local marketing strategies and promotions to increase café traffic and sales.
Keep It Safe & Clean:
Ensure the café meets all health, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members. Assist in achieving sales, labor, and profitability goals while maintaining operational excellence. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of proven customer service experience in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry. 2+ years of proven managerial or supervisory experience in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry. Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred. High School Diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred. Exceptional communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for creating outstanding guest experiences. Strong prioritization, multitasking, and organizational abilities. Local or municipal requirements, such as Food Handler Certification, required. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. A positive, outgoing personality with strong leadership qualities.
