About Us Cohasset Hospitality Partners operates The Red Lion Inn 1704, Red Lion Tavern, and Olde Salt House. We are a growing hospitality group focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, strong team culture, and high-quality food and beverage operations. Olde Salt House is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant with a strong seasonal business, and we are looking for a hands-on, service-driven Restaurant Manager to lead our team. Position Overview The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Olde Salt House, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance, and profitable operations. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will be actively working on the floor, coaching your team, and driving service standards in real time. Key Responsibilities Operations & Guest Experience, Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality Actively manage the dining room and support the team during service Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Team Leadership Hire, train, schedule, and develop front-of-house staff Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and performance management Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture Hold staff accountable to company standards and expectations Financial & Business Performance Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing levels based on business volume Monitor sales performance and drive revenue opportunities Control costs, including labor, inventory, and waste Support inventory management and ordering Compliance & Administration Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Handle employee and guest incidents professionally and document as needed Collaborate with kitchen, events, and hotel teams to ensure alignment Support special events and seasonal business demands Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred) Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Hands-on, proactive management style Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Knowledge of POS systems and basic administrative tools Requirements Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and move for extended periods (8+ hours) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs What We Offer Competitive salary Growth opportunities within a multi-property hospitality group Supportive leadership and team environment Opportunity to be part of a growing and evolving operation Apply today or visit us in person at one of our properties to introduce yourself.
