About the Role The Front of House (FOH) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house operations of the restaurant while supporting overall store performance. This role plays a key part in ensuring an exceptional guest experience, maintaining operational efficiency, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. The FOH Manager helps set the tone for the restaurant, supporting team development while ensuring smooth daily operations across the dining room, counter, and drive-thru. This role works closely with leadership to uphold Pressed Cafe's standards for hospitality, food quality, and operational excellence. Hourly role with base wages up to $70,000 annually based on a 50-hour workweek (including overtime). What You'll Do Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including the dining room, counter service, and drive-thru. Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure strong service standards and team performance. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Support coordination and execution of catering orders. Monitor restaurant flow and adjust team priorities to maintain efficiency during high-volume periods. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and maintaining appropriate product levels. Support labor management and operational cost control. Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture while motivating staff to meet performance goals. Actively contribute to maintaining high guest satisfaction and supporting sales growth. What You Bring Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong operational knowledge of restaurant service, food safety, and cost control. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team while maintaining a hands-on leadership style. A strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities during busy shifts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a high-energy environment. ServSafe Food Manager certification (or ability to obtain). Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift. Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
