Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager at LoLa Hospitality in Boston, MA. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure a seamless guest experience in alignment with the company's high standards. Responsibilities include supervising service delivery, assisting in staff recruitment and training, monitoring inventory and supply chain activities, and collaborating with the management team to execute company goals. You will also be responsible for addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications Experience in hospitality management, including team leadership and day-to-day operational oversight Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to foster exceptional guest experiences Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and scheduling Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment with attention to detail Knowledge of state health and safety guidelines within the hospitality industry Experience with staff recruitment, training, and performance management Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous experience in a similar role and a passion for culinary arts and hospitality is highly valued
