Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front of House Manager/Hostess and be the welcoming face that sets the tone for an exceptional guest experience! This lively role combines leadership, hospitality expertise, and operational oversight to ensure smooth restaurant flow, outstanding customer service, and a vibrant atmosphere. You'll oversee daily front-of-house operations, manage guest interactions, and support staff training—all while maintaining a high-energy environment that celebrates culinary excellence and hospitality. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times Supervise front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders, ensuring top-tier customer service and adherence to service standards Oversee POS system for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure food preparation aligns with service flow, quality standards, and safety protocols Manage inventory control for front-of-house supplies, including linens, utensils, and point-of-sale materials Train new team members on food handling procedures, customer service excellence, safety protocols, and restaurant policies Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and foster positive relationships Assist with shift management tasks such as scheduling staff shifts andmonitoring performance. Social Media postings of specials and happenings Enforce food safety standards in compliance with health regulations; oversee food production processes when necessary Experience Proven supervisory or management experience within a casual dining or fine dining experience is highly valued Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food industry standards Hands-on experience with POS systems; proficiency in cash handling and transaction processing Background in hospitality management with skills in team management, training & development, and customer service excellence Familiarity with inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and food handling procedures Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively through supervising experience in restaurant or hotel settings Strong communication skills with experience interviewing or onboarding new staff members; leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and high performance Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership transforms guest experiences into lasting memories!
