This role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at team leadership, and has a strong background in food service management. As the driving force behind our kitchen, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain rigorous food safety standards, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Your expertise will help to create and maintain recipes, standards, pars, and create procedures to scale our concept. Duties Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks and support personnel, ensuring efficient shift management and high team morale. Oversee menu planning, specials, food preparation, and presentation to uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency. Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste while ensuring adequate stock levels for daily operations. Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and sanitation standards across the kitchen. Monitor cost control measures related to food industry expenses, including purchasing, pricing strategies, and labor costs. Maintain compliance with all health regulations and licensing requirements related to food safety and sanitation. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training staff on culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and hospitality standards. Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, shift management, and operational planning to meet business goals. Experience Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager within a high-volume restaurant or bar setting. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse culinary teams in fast-paced environments. Hands-on experience Knowledge of inventory management systems, cost control strategies, and food safety regulations including sanitizing procedures. Familiarity with dietary department protocols and accommodating special dietary needs in menu planning. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of quality and service excellence.
