Assistant House Manager Schedule:
Full time position/Must be Flexible(Day and Evening)

$25/hr. WORK Inc., one of New England's most progressive providers of services to adults with disabilities is seeking applications for Assistant House Manager positions in our residential programs. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and life experience. We are seeking a full time who will support 5 individuals served in their own home by promoting independence, while empowering and enhancing their quality of life. The Assistant House Manager is responsible for implementing individual service plans and for facilitating as normal an atmosphere and routine life as is possible in the community residence for individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
Essential Functions:
Assists in the development of maximum independence, responsibility and self-worth. Smooth operation of the program when the House Manager is off duty. Integration of Quality of Life ideals into daily management and future program development. Assesses program participants independent living skills. Designs and implements skill acquisition and behavior management programs for consumer case loads. Collects necessary data to demonstrate the effectiveness of training programs, design data collection forms. Prepares and implements written quarterly individual service plans, progress notes and treatment plans. Provides on-the-job supervision to CTS when the House Manager is not on duty. Maintenance of records for program participants on caseloads in a timely and complete manner. Provides guidance and support to program participants, as needed. Meets regularly with program participants vocational case managers, families, therapists and other support staff to assure a coordinated and consistent programming. Participates in the DDS ISP process. Assesses consumer needs for supportive services and making referrals to the appropriate agency as necessary. Makes arrangements for periodic and as needed medical and dental care. Assists program participants in using community resources. Designs and implements money management programs for all program participants. Attends regular house meetings, staff meetings and individual supervision. Attends in-service training programs. Ensures the cleanliness maintenance of building and grounds. Ensures staff coverage and provide coverage when needed. Obtains Human Rights Officer and Fire Safety Officer Certifications. Carries out duties as assigned by House Manager/Residential Director. (The essential functions listed in this section are not limited only to the tasks indicated and may include other duties as assigned- Assistant manager also required to sign the Community Training Specialist Job Description) Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with WORK Inc.s company policy and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees Planning, assigning, training and directing work Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
