Cafe General Manager Benefits & Compensation Competitive base salary ( $70,000-$80,000 annually) Bonus program based on performance 15 days of paid annual leave , in addition to company-observed holidays and sick time Three health plan options, with full coverage available for two employee-only tiers Commuter benefits and wellness stipend Parental and bereavement leave Free coffee and more through exclusive Regulars program Regular team social outings and company swag Cafe General Manager Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of experience managing single-store unit operations in hospitality or consumer brands Proven ability to hire, develop, and lead teams Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, and related equipment Excellent decision-making and multitasking skills Strong interpersonal communication abilities Full-time availability ( 45 hours per week , 5 days, including weekend peak shifts) Cafe General Manager Preferred Background & Skills Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus Passion for coffee and customer service Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze trends and adapt Cafe General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead, train, and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards Oversee inventory management, vendor relations, and compliance with inventory systems Ensure product quality and consistency in every beverage served Maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation of the café Develop relationships with neighborhood businesses to grow local brand loyalty Collaborate with other managers to share best practices and foster a supportive culture Manage staff scheduling, review timecards, and ensure timely payroll Champion financial performance, drive sales growth, and actively engage with the community If you are passionate about hospitality, coffee, and building great teams, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in Wellesley.
