Position SummaryThe Food Service District Manager is responsible for overseeing food service operations across multiple store locations within an assigned district. This role ensures consistency in food quality, safety, customer experience, operational execution, training, and profitability.
The District Manager partners closely with store managers and team members to drive sales growth, maintain brand standards, and support the successful execution of food service programs. This is a field-based leadership role requiring regular travel between locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular store visits to evaluate food service operations, cleanliness, customer experience, and adherence to company standardsEnsure consistent execution of all food service programs in alignment with company expectationsMonitor and enforce food safety and sanitation standards, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsPerform food safety audits and operational inspections; implement and follow up on corrective action plansTrain, coach, and develop store managers and food service team members in food preparation, merchandising, customer service, and operational proceduresSupport onboarding and continued training for new employeesAssist stores with inventory management, waste control, ordering, and labor optimizationAnalyze sales performance and food service metrics; provide reporting and insights to leadershipIdentify and implement opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and customer satisfactionEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standardsCollaborate with operations leadership to roll out new programs, promotions, and initiativesRespond to operational challenges, customer concerns, and urgent situations as neededMaintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and store teamsPromote a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and service excellenceQualifications3+ years of multi-unit management experience in food service, restaurants, or a related field preferredStrong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practicesServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain within a defined timeframeDemonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development capabilitiesExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret sales reports, KPIs, and operational dataComfortable working independently in a fast-paced, field-based environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systemsWillingness to travel frequently within assigned territoryRequirementsValid driver's license and reliable personal vehicleAbility to travel extensively between store locations (mileage reimbursement provided)Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyAbility to stand for extended periods during store visitsPreferred SkillsExperience managing food service programs in quick-service restaurantsKnowledge of labor management, food cost control, and merchandising strategiesExperience conducting audits, inspections, and structured training programsStrong understanding of customer service and guest experience standardsBenefitsCompetitive SalaryHealth Dental Vision401K with Match of 5%PTO/Sick time of 3 weeksEmployee Discounts
