Job Description

Position Summary:
Homewood Suites by Hilton Bel Air is seeking a motivated, service-oriented, and results-driven Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in the daily operations of the hotel while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, and team development. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering Hilton-level service.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage. Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure high guest satisfaction scores. Supervise, coach, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, and safety regulations. Assist with revenue management strategies, budgeting, labor management, and expense control. Monitor hotel performance, analyze reports, and implement action plans to improve operational efficiency. Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Conduct daily property walks to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. Support sales efforts by building relationships with guests, corporate accounts, and community partners. Serve as Manager on Duty as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of hotel leadership experience, preferably in a Hilton-branded property. Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with hotel property management systems (OnQ experience preferred). Financial acumen with experience managing labor, budgets, and operational expenses. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required). Hilton brand experience is highly desirable.
