Restaurant Operator Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver outstanding hospitality, foster a positive work environment, and drive operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages. Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting. Train, develop, and motivate staff members on food safety standards, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling, kitchen cleanliness, and workplace safety. Coordinate shift schedules, monitor performance metrics, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional service. Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling labor costs and managing expenses related to food production and hospitality services. Support catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to expand the restaurant's offerings and revenue streams. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a strong background in food industry operations. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems for sales transactions and reporting. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within casual dining or fine dining settings; experience in training & development is highly valued. Familiarity with inventory control procedures, budgeting processes, and food safety regulations. Prior experience in hospitality management roles including restaurant management or assistant manager positions is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
