Job Description

Vehicles For Change, Salisbury, MD is looking to fill the position of Program Assistant . This role consists of managing the administrative functions of recruitment, training, paper filing and computer data entry, and access to wrap-around services. We are looking for a motivated, think outside the box individual who sees the mission as
POSSIBLE!
The ideal candidate should possess time management, organizational, communication and computer skills. Vehicles For Change is recognized as a leader in reentry training and transportation for qualifying families.
Resposibilities:
Assist Director with day to day responsibilities Conduct phone assessments and schedule tours with potential interns Develop and maintain community partnerships Facilitate in-house events / Facilitate outreach presentations and events
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of administrative experience in human services/social work or corrections or AA degree in related field. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and sometimes unpredictable environment Exceptionally high integrity Committed to diversity, mission and equity
Experience:
Administrative/Data Management:
2 years (REQUIRED) MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint Working with diverse people, individuals with a criminal background is a plus • Include resume and cover letter with salary requirements•
