Job Description
This role is designed for a highly capable, adaptable individual who can grow alongside a multi-faceted business. The position begins as a hands-on operational role, working closely with existing managers across bottle redemption, inventory, liquor wholesale, retail grocery, and gasoline. Early responsibilities will be tactical and detail-oriented, focused on learning workflows, supporting daily execution, and ensuring consistency across departments. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning by doing and earning trust through reliability and follow-through. This is not a desk role—success requires being present, observant, and willing to step in wherever needed. Over time, this position will take on increasing responsibility, ownership of key operational functions, and independent decision-making. The long-term goal is to develop a leader who understands the full ecosystem of the people, inventory, cash flow, compliance, and customer relationships. This role is best suited for someone who wants a long-term opportunity, values learning multiple sides of a business, and is motivated by growth, accountability, and operational excellence. We are looking for a candidate who is forward‑thinking, creative, and genuinely excited to be part of the Sugarloaf community. This role goes beyond day‑to‑day operations and calls for someone who can bring ideas to the table, see growth opportunities, and help shape the future of the business within the mountain region. The ideal candidate values community connection and is willing to actively participate in local events, partnerships, and outreach efforts that strengthen our presence and relationships in Sugarloaf and the surrounding area. - Community & Growth Initiatives o Participate in local events, partnerships, and community engagement o Identify opportunities for collaboration with local businesses and/or resorts o Contribute ideas for new revenue streams, services, or business expansions o Support marketing initiatives and brand presence in the community Compensation This is a competitively paid position with compensation based on experience and performance.
