Responsibilities Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth service flow. Supervise food preparation and kitchen activities to uphold quality standards, food safety, and cleanliness. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs to meet budget targets. Lead staff training and development initiatives, including interviewing, onboarding new team members, and conducting performance evaluations. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Operate POS systems such as Toast for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Enforce health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols. Collaborate with management on marketing efforts, event planning (including banquets or catering), and special promotions to boost sales. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments. knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, and supervision. Excellent organizational skills with experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance. Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in the food industry is highly preferred.
