Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager of Lodging to join our hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing staff, revenue, and overall property performance. Your leadership will drive a welcoming environment that emphasizes outstanding customer service, operational efficiency, and team development. Responsibilities Supervise front desk operations, including phone system and guest check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Lead and motivate the lodging team, providing guidance in guest services, housekeeping, kitchen/dining staff, maintenance, and hospitality standards to foster a positive work environment. Oversee guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service. Implement hospitality management best practices, including training staff on phone etiquette, amenities, and guest engagement techniques. Support human resources functions such as scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives to build a cohesive team. Qualifications Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry. Strong background in hotel operations with comprehensive knowledge of front desk procedures, guest services, and resort management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive guest experience; previous experience in hotel or resort settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage phone systems with professionalism and adherence to phone etiquette standards.
