Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Convenience Store Clerk and Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team. In this multifaceted role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing daily store operations and kitchen activities. Your leadership will ensure smooth store functioning, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and foster a welcoming environment for all customers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Manage kitchen activities by preparing food items, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring food safety compliance Supervise staff members by providing training, guidance, and support in customer service, cash handling, and store procedures Handle cash register operations using POS systems accurately and efficiently; manage cash handling procedures and reconcile daily sales Monitor inventory levels regularly; place purchasing orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the store and kitchen areas; conduct routine inspections Skills Strong leadership abilities with prior supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or food service environments Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Proficiency in retail management tools such as POS systems, inventory control software, and bookkeeping applications Skilled in customer service excellence with a focus on building rapport and resolving issues effectively Sound knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and merchandising techniques Experience in recruiting, training & development of team members, along with employee orientation practices Capable of managing shift schedules, budgeting tasks, and performing administrative duties such as payroll processing Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management, inventory control, and store presentation Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team where your leadership can make a real difference!
