We are a local real estate investment company looking for a highly skilled, self-sufficient renovation professional to help complete house flips and rental property renovations. This is not an entry-level handyman position. We are looking for someone who can walk into a vacant house, understand what needs to be done, make good decisions, complete high-quality work, and help direct other laborers or helpers on site. What You'll Do You will work on residential renovation projects, mostly vacant houses, handling a wide variety of repair and remodeling tasks. The ideal person can do a little bit of everything and knows how to keep a project moving. This is a flexible position. You have flexibility to make your own hours. Start as early as 5am or work as late as 7PM. You will be an independent contractor so your hours are generally yours to choose. This is a 1099 position. If you need health insurance, we don't provide that, but can help you navigate the marketplace. This is not a good position for someone who needs full benefits and stability. This is an independent contractor position. We anticipate having full time work available for you for the foreseeable future.

Work may include:

Framing and rough carpentry Finish carpentry and trim Doors, windows, cabinets, and hardware Drywall repair and finishing Painting and prep work Flooring installation and repair Plumbing repairs and fixture installation Electrical repairs, fixtures, outlets, switches, and troubleshooting Kitchen and bath punch-list work Exterior repairs, decks, porches, siding, and general maintenance Diagnosing problems and coming up with practical solutions Managing punch lists and helping finish houses efficiently Creating Punch Lists Independently Directing helpers, laborers, or subcontractors when needed What We're Looking For The right person is experienced, reliable, and able to work independently without constant supervision.
