Full-time Job Summary The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, food safety, and team performance. This role supports management by supervising crew members, maintaining McDonald's standards, and ensuring a smooth, efficient shift. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage crew members during assigned shifts Assist General Manager with Systems Management (Inventory, People, Operations) Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer concerns professionally Maintain food safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational standards Assign positions, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback Ensure accurate cash handling, register procedures, and safe controls Open and/or close the restaurant as required Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management Enforce company policies, procedures, and labor guidelines Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment Support training of new employees and ongoing crew development Qualifications Previous experience in quick-service or restaurant leadership preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling (including nights, weekends, and holidays) Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed Restaurant Management Training Credentials Skills & Competencies Team leadership and motivation Customer-focused mindset Problem-solving and decision-making Time management and organization Conflict resolution Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Paid training Opportunities for advancement Employee meals and discounts Rewards / Bonus Points Program with
