Bar Manager - AndyS Restaurant & Entertainment Venue AndyS in Ludington will soon be the ultimate destination for live music, sports, dining, and entertainment. Designed to bring together exceptional food, handcrafted beverages, and unforgettable experiences, AndyS will be a one-of-a-kind hospitality venue where guests can gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Featuring sports simulators, private party rooms, fire tables on the rooftop terrace, three full-service bars, private dining spaces, and a premier entertainment stage, AndyS will offer guests an unmatched experience. From comedy shows and live music to dancing, arts events, and major celebrations, every detail has been designed to create an exciting destination unlike anything else in the area. The large circular bars will feature Michigan's favorite beers on tap, handcrafted cocktails, and exceptional beverage experiences. Position Overview Are you an experienced bar leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environment? AndyS Restaurant is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join our opening leadership team and help launch one of Downtown Ludington's most exciting new entertainment destinations. The Bar Manager will be responsible for leading all beverage operations across AndyS' multiple bar environments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and a strong team culture. This position will oversee daily bar operations, beverage standards, staff development, inventory management, and service execution. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Front of House Manager, Executive Leadership Team and Ownership Group, the Bar Manager will play a key role in building the beverage program, developing the bar team, and creating a world-class guest experience. The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality professional with a minimum of 5 years of bar management experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing teams while delivering exceptional beverage service. Be part of the opening team for a premier entertainment and hospitality destination in Downtown Ludington Opportunity to build and develop a bar program from the ground up Join the growing Riemer Hospitality organization with opportunities for long-term career advancement Work directly with experienced ownership and executive leadership Build, train, and lead a talented hospitality team Be part of a company focused on innovation, guest experience, and operational excellence Help create a destination venue that will redefine dining and entertainment in the area Position Responsibilities Lead all bar operations across multiple full-service bar locations within AndyS Recruit, train, coach, and develop bartenders, barbacks, and beverage team members Create and maintain exceptional beverage service standards Develop a positive, accountable, and high-performing bar culture Manage daily bar operations including opening, closing, and shift leadership responsibilities Create staff schedules while maintaining appropriate labor and service levels Train team members on beverage preparation, service standards, responsible alcohol service, and guest engagement Oversee cocktail execution, beer and wine service, and beverage consistency Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost controls Maintain proper inventory levels while reducing waste and controlling expenses Partner with leadership on menu development, promotions, and beverage experiences Ensure compliance with all company policies, liquor regulations, safety standards, and sanitation requirements Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address service opportunities Support entertainment events, concerts, private parties, and high-volume service periods Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Team to achieve operational goals Be a visible, hands-on leader who supports the team and engages with guests What We Are Looking For Minimum 5 years of bar management experience in a high-volume restaurant, entertainment venue, nightclub, hotel, or hospitality environment Proven experience managing and developing a bar team Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Experience with inventory control, ordering, cost management, and beverage profitability Experience scheduling, training, and managing hospitality staff Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and compliance standards Ability to lead during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality and professionalism Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions independently Experience with entertainment venues, events, nightlife, or large-scale hospitality operations preferred A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be: A hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside their team A mentor who develops employees and future hospitality leaders A hospitality professional who understands the importance of service details A confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced environment Someone who takes pride in creating exceptional beverage experiences A team builder who wants to grow with a developing hospitality organization Compensation & Growth Opportunities Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications Opportunity for continued growth and advancement within Riemer Hospitality Potential relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis Opportunity to be part of the leadership team for a unique entertainment destination At AndyS, we are not just opening another restaurant — we are creating a destination.
