Materials Team Lead 3rd Shift | Bristol, IN (Main)Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $28.00 - 28.00What you'll do:

SUMMARY:

Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited toordering, filling, kitting, stocking, loading, and inspecting orders accuratelyand efficiently. While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis frequently required to lift and move a minimum of 40 poundswithout assistance, climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet, andwear appropriate safety equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain validforklift/stand-up license- including completion of daily fork truck maintenancelog and proper maintenance of equipment
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP andbar code scanners systems
• Responsiblefor maintaining inventory record accuracythrough accurate stock transfers and cycle counts
• Plans and orders materials asrequired by operations schedule
• Line sets and organizesmaterials in a timely manner
• Identifies damaged materials
• Places materials to and from avariety of box/skid/containers
• Transports materialsto designated areas utilizing appropriatetools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limitedto pallet jack, forklift, stand-up and/or pac mule
• Identifies and communicatesshortage parts
• Assists operators as neededby lifting heavy objects
• Participates in qualityimprovement efforts
• Utilizes good housekeepingpractices.
• Assists in maintaining safetystandards in all areas of responsibility
• Performs required administrativetasks; prepares all required reports and communication.
• Willingness to work OT on shortnotice
• Preparation and participation inphysical inventory.
• Knowledge and application ofdamage parts procedure

QUALIFICATIONS

• HS Diploma orGED required
• Familiarity with line setpractices and handling methods.
• Ability to work with minimalsupervision.
• Commitment to a high standard ofexcellence
• Versatility, flexibility, and awillingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Excellent written and oralcommunication skills
• Strong organizational,problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Familiarity with outlook, word andexcel
• Ability to understand and followwritten and verbal instructions
