Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager in Doyles Pub to join our vibrant restaurant team! This energetic leadership role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, overseeing daily operations, and inspiring a team to excel. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth restaurant management, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and fostering a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Your enthusiasm and management skills will drive the success of our fast-paced, casual dining establishment. Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to enhance performance and service excellence. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels to meet customer demand. Supervise food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling procedures to uphold safety and hygiene standards. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to optimize profitability. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hospitality best practices across all restaurant areas. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising food service operations. Background in food safety protocols, inventory control, budgeting, and food industry standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
