We are currently looking for a kitchen manger to assist in day to day operations under our chef and sous chef. Applicants should have strong line cook abilities as well as a minimum of one year in a supervisory role. Responsibilities Assist the management team with all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Monitor stock levels, and minimize waste to optimize food costs. Supervise kitchen staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to promote skill enhancement and team cohesion. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment. Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain food production processes aligned with restaurant standards, including catering or banquet services when necessary. Lead by example in fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and professionalism. Qualifications One year of supervisory or management experience Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, and team development skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations as well as food allergens. Good leadership skills
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
