Job Description

Sandusky Social Bar & Kitchen is currently seeking an experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to help build and lead our opening kitchen team. This is an opportunity to help shape a new restaurant from the ground up. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about food, understands kitchen operations, and can build a culture centered around consistency, teamwork, and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen leadership and staff development Menu execution and quality control Inventory management and ordering Food cost management Scheduling and labor management Food safety and sanitation compliance Training and mentoring kitchen staff Working closely with ownership and management
Qualifications:
Previous Head Chef, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager experience preferred Strong leadership skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Understanding of food costs and inventory control Strong organizational and communication skills ServSafe certification required
