Bar Manager

Bar Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a high-performing bar team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid understanding of beverage operations, inventory control, and staff development. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day bar operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and bar staff
• Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, stock rotation, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with alcohol laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies
• Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently
• Collaborate with management on budgeting, events, and business goals
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the bar area Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Lead Bartender, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and bar operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory systems and POS software
• Knowledge of local alcohol regulations and responsible service practices
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Skills
• Staff training and performance management
• Event planning or promotions experience
• Financial awareness (labor costs, beverage margins) Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
