We have been in business since 1997. Our mission is to create innovative and tasty snack and meal items for those on the go. We are currently hiring a 2nd shift Production Manager. Primary Responsibilities Supervise 2nd-shift food manufacturing operations, overseeing production staff to ensure daily output, quality, and safety targets were achieved. Supervise and train production employees, team leads, and machine operators in compliance with food safety and GMP requirements. Monitor production schedules and coordinated staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, USDA, SQF and company food safety standards. Investigate production issues, implement corrective actions, and reduce waste and product defects. Conduct shift meetings, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed. Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, warehouse, and sanitation teams to maintain smooth operations. Analyze production metrics, labor utilization, and equipment performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate production records, inventory documentation, and regulatory compliance reports. Improve productivity, safety performance, and employee engagement through process optimization and leadership development. Experience Required Proven success in a food manufacturing setting is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Additional Skills Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and a team player Ability to multi-task and stay focused amid daily interruptions
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
