We're looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager who's ready to lead the heart of the house, elevate culinary talent, and keep the kitchen running smoothly, all while having a blast doing it.

  • Bringing your personal best What You Will Do As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will help lead day-to-day BOH operations while developing a strong, skilled culinary team.
Duties & Responsibilities Ensure every guest enjoys their food and overall experience. Supervise Cook Assistants, Cooks, and Dishwashers. Develop culinary Team Members to reach their fullest potential. Explain, teach, and ensure adherence to HACCP principles. Assist with ordering, production, and inventory processes. Help maintain correct culinary staffing levels to serve our guests. Train the team on culinary excellence, recipe adherence, and kitchen standards. Monitor food quality and ticket times to meet expectations. Provide hands-on support in kitchen stations as needed. Conduct table touches when guests require allergen or dietary guidance. Interact with guests in a fun, engaging manner. Support the achievement of business objectives and profitability goals. Ensure compliance with government, state, and local health and safety laws. Foster a safe, clean, and positive work environment aligned with company culture. Perform other duties as required.
What We're Looking For Experience & Skills Required:
Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Minimum of 3-years culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience of kitchen staff. Serve Safe Certification required. Strong culinary skill set (may be assessed through a practical exam). Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Organized, thorough, and detail oriented. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
