Duties Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation from scratch, and presentation to meet high-quality standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and efficient cooking techniques. Oversee inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety management and sanitation practices. Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely service during busy hours. Collaborate with management on food production planning, profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and overall restaurant management. Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting with team management and staff training responsibilities. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling. Solid understanding of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, interview potential staff members, and support their development.
