As we continue to expand through new builds, acquisitions, and brand partnerships, we are seeking a highly adaptable and operationally strong Task Force General Manager to support our properties during transitions, openings, and leadership gaps. This role is ideal for a proven hotel leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments, can quickly assess operations, and can stabilize or elevate performance wherever needed. Position Overview The Task Force General Manager serves as an extension of the Genuine Hospitality leadership team, stepping into properties on a temporary basis to provide operational leadership, drive performance, and ensure brand and company standards are upheld. This role will also play a key part in opening new hotels and onboarding newly acquired properties into the Genuine Hospitality culture, systems, and expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead hotel operations during periods of transition, including GM vacancies, leadership changes, or performance challenges Provide hands‑on support across all departments to stabilize operations and maintain service excellence Assist with new hotel openings , including pre‑opening planning, staff onboarding, system setup, and brand compliance Support the onboarding of newly acquired hotels , ensuring smooth integration into Genuine Hospitality processes, culture, and reporting standards Evaluate property operations and implement immediate action plans to improve guest satisfaction, cleanliness, financial controls, and team engagement Train, mentor, and develop department leaders and supervisors to strengthen bench talent across the portfolio Partner with Regional Directors and Corporate Leadership to execute company initiatives and ensure consistency across all properties Maintain strong relationships with brand representatives and ensure adherence to brand standards Provide accurate, timely reporting and communication during each assignment Travel frequently to assigned properties across the Midwest and East Coast Qualifications Proven experience as a General Manager in select‑service or extended‑stay hotels Strong operational knowledge across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B (where applicable) Experience with hotel openings or transitions preferred Ability to quickly assess property needs and implement effective solutions Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills Comfortable with frequent travel and adapting to new environments Familiarity with major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Choice, etc.) is a plus Ideal Candidate You're a confident, hands‑on operator who can walk into any hotel and immediately bring structure, stability, and leadership.
