About the
Role:
The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our hospitality establishment, ensuring that all aspects of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction are met to the highest standards. This position requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage a diverse team, drive sales initiatives, and maintain cost control measures to enhance profitability. The General Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing operational policies that align with the company's goals while fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, this role involves analyzing financial reports, managing budgets, and optimizing P&L statements to ensure the financial health of the establishment. Ultimately, the General Manager will be the key driver of success, ensuring that both guests and staff have an exceptional experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience with corporate sales and project management in the hospitality sector. Familiarity with current trends in the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Manage and lead a diverse team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in food and beverage services. Monitor and control costs, including food costs and labor expenses, to maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports and P&L statements to make informed business decisions.
Skills:
The required skills of people management and project sales are essential for leading a diverse team and driving revenue initiatives. Daily, the General Manager will utilize cost control techniques to ensure that operational expenses remain within budget while maintaining quality service. Proficiency in hospitality and food/beverage management will be critical in creating an exceptional guest experience and optimizing menu offerings. P&L management skills will be applied to analyze financial performance and make strategic decisions that enhance profitability. Preferred skills in corporate sales will further support the establishment's growth by identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
