Head Cook/Kitchen Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Cook to join our team at Miles City Town and Country Club. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve high-quality meals to golfers and guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and has the potential to become full-time. Previous catering experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Prepare and cook for catered events of 50+ people. Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet expectations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including food prep areas, equipment, and utensils. Assist with inventory management, stocking, and rotating food supplies. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage. Work collaboratively with golf course staff to provide excellent customer service. Assist in planning and preparing meals for special events or tournaments. Handle customer inquiries and special requests professionally.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred. Previous catering experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
