General Manager Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager / Housekeeping Inspector. This dual-role position plays a vital part in ensuring our properties are well-maintained, operations run smoothly, and guest experiences exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both property management and housekeeping oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistant Property Manager Duties:
Assist in the daily operations of residential and/or vacation rental properties. Respond to guest or tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner. Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure completion. Conduct property walk-throughs to check for maintenance needs or safety concerns. Help with scheduling and coordination of vendors and service providers. Assist with administrative tasks such as guest & tenant communications, record keeping, and property inspections.
Housekeeping Inspector Duties:
Prep and stock all properties after guest departure for housekeepers. This includes removing all used linens. Must have ability to lift 30lbs. without assistance. Inspect cleaned units for cleanliness, quality, and readiness prior to guest or tenant arrival. Ensure all housekeeping staff adhere to company cleanliness and safety standards. Report and document any damages, missing items, or issues found during inspections. Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to provide feedback and resolve discrepancies. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities. Train or assist in training new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and expectations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred. Experience in hospitality environment preferred. Previous housekeeping or inspection experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to walk properties, including climbing stairs and lifting light objects. Must be able to stand for extended periods during inspections. Will work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience. Benefits may include paid time off, and performance incentives. Seasonal bonus if contract is completed.
