Job Description

Thanks for your interest in our position, here's what we're offering. Highest paid kitchen staff in Whitefish, we'll prove it to you. Reasonable hours, better work life balance. Due to the tipping structure of our kitchen, you'll have the advantageous opportunity to make more and work less. We offer counter service at Good Taco, thus, kitchen staff keeps the tips. No front of house. This means no marathon shifts or 60 hour work weeks. Get paid what you're worth in this industry, live a reasonable life outside of work. No babysitting. Join a well trained, well supported team. We're a small group that supports each other and works hard. Creative input into monthly specials and new menu items. We're always running specials and trying out new tacos, we'd love to see any creativity if you've got it. $35-40/hr. This is a combined hourly and tipped rate, $27 an hour if you meet the qualifications. Our staff averages a considerable amount of tips. $750 end of season bonus. Make it through the summer to September and receive a bonus. This applies to winter season as well. Membership to The Wave. We'll cover your membership to Whitefish's premier gym, a $60/month value. Be a part of a growing, successful business. Last year we were featured in Flathead Magazine, Flathead Beacon, and got a shout out in the New York Times. Accolades don't drive us, serving the community does, but perhaps you needed to see a little street cred. Bigger than a job. We partner with North Valley Food Bank through our Good Taco program. To date we've raised over $10,000, supporting our community beyond the food we serve in the kitchen. We've also been a part of their newly launched Food Incubator program. Who we are looking for! Ideally, you should be in a kitchen cooking right now, perhaps managing or supervising in some capacity. ServSafe Manager Certified We're looking for a long term fit, but if you've got the chops maybe we could make a summer season work. Ideally, we want someone looking for stability and to be a part of a small team. Night shifts primarily, an odd lunch shift here and there. We're looking for someone to help run dinner service 4-10pm, and midnights on Friday or Saturday. In the summer you'll be part of a 4/5 person crew. We'll be having open interviews the week of the first couple weeks of June. Be prepared to make yourself available for an interview.
